The first Church of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in the Cambridgeshire/East Anglia region. It was founded from the desire in the minds of handful Indian immigrants to this area in early 2005 to congregate and worship Almighty God in the traditions and practices of the Indian Orthodox Church
With the support of Rev Fr. Abraham Thomas (Vicar-London parish) and tireless effort of then parish members, the first Indian Orthodox Service (Holy Qurbana) in Cambridgeshire was conducted on 14th January 2006...

Thomas the Apostle, (called Didymus which means "the twin"), was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, according to the New Testment. He is informally called doubting Thomas because he doubted Jesus' resurrection when first told, (in the Gospel of John), followed later by his confession of faith, "My Lord and my God", on seeing Jesus' wounded body.
